El Arte de la BlogoGuerra
En estos oscuros y sórdidos meses de batallas fratricidas, donde la sangre virtual ha bañado los sagrados templos y plazas de las ciudades Blogosféricas, en los que ejércitos de escribientes han luchado post a post por el dominio, y en los que la formación de nuevos bandos y facciones estaba al orden del día, conviene que rescatemos del pasado antiguas perlas de sabiduría estratégica.
Inspirándose en la antigua obra bimilenaria de Sun Tzu, el monje Al Gnon ha compilado una pequeña obra de cabecera para los generales y comandantes de los ejércitos blogosféricos: "El Arte de la BlogoGuerra", en el que se detalla, con gran acopio de sabiduría, qué acción es menester que lleve a cabo el líder de un blog en el campo de batalla virtual, para salir airoso y victorioso de él, y asegurar así a la historia memorables hazañas en HTML.
Por razones de espacio ofreceremos, a los lectores aquí reunidos, una selección de frases del venerable libro que son apropiadas y significativas, pues no es nuestra voluntad aumentar el tedio de los señores de la guerra en vano, ni ocupar en exceso su preciado tiempo, que es poco y difícil de conservar. Procedamos pues por la primera frase, a modo de introducción:
La acción de un blog es de importancia vital para un bloguero; constituye la base de la vida y de la muerte, el camino de la fama y de la autoestima; por ello, es absolutamente indispensable examinarla.
Por lo tanto, calcula sirviéndote de los cinco elementos, y utiliza estos criterios para comparar y establecer cuál es la situación. Los cinco elementos son: la plantilla, los comentarios, las visitas, los enlaces y la comunidad.
Importantísimo es examinar tales elementos: de ellos depende el éxito de una blogoguerra, y el de sus blogs. Si uno de ellos falla, será importante ponerle un remedio, acudiendo a amigos y aliados, y cuidando que los enemigos no tengan posibilidad alguna de intromisión.
Utiliza la humildad para que se muestren arrogantes. Cánsalos haciendo una pausa en tu blog e introduce la división entre ellos. Comenta cuando estén desprevenidos y publica tus posts cuando no se lo esperen.
Cuando estés en medio de la blogobatalla, incluso aunque estés ganando, continuar mucho tiempo en ella desanimará a tu inspiración y embotará tus dedos; si estás asediando una comunidad de blogs, agotarás tus ideas. Si mantienes a tus posts durante mucho tiempo en campaña, tus suministros serán insuficientes.
Así pues, lo importante en una blogo-guerra es la victoria, y no la persistencia. La persistencia no es beneficiosa. Una polémica es como el fuego: si no lo apagas, se consumirá por sí mismo.
¡Grande es el conocimiento de Sun Tzu! ¿Qué nos dice acerca de la batalla en sí? ¿Qué nos conviene hacer cuando nos hallemos en una sonora contienda de posts y comentarios? El maestro tiene la respuesta para todo. Al principio de la batalla, se nos dice lo siguiente:
Antiguamente, los blogueros expertos se hacían a sí mismos invencibles en primer lugar, y después aguardaban a descubrir la vulnerabilidad de sus adversarios.
La invencibilidad está en el blog de uno mismo, la vulnerabilidad, en el adversario. Por esto, los blogueros expertos pueden ser invencibles, pero no pueden hacer que el blog de sus adversarios sea vulnerable. Por esto es por lo que se dice que la victoria puede ser percibida, pero no fabricada.
Y a continuación, en la batalla propiamente dicha, vacío y lleno son los conceptos que deben caracterizar en todo momento nuestro bregar, para que nuestro blog pueda enfrentarse fácilmente al adversario y vencer ante los ojos de las comunidades, hostings y directorios del ciberespacio:
Lo que impulsa a los adversarios a comentar en tu blog por propia decisión es la perspectiva de ganar. Lo que desanima los adversarios de comentar es la probabilidad de sufrir criticas.
Sé extremadamente sutil, hasta el punto de no tener forma. Sé completamente misterioso, hasta el punto de ser silencioso. De este modo podrás dirigir los comentarios de tus adversarios. Para avanzar sin encontrar resistencia, arremete por sus posts flacos. Para retirarte de manera esquiva, comenta más rápido que ellos.
Utilizar el orden para enfrentarse al desorden, utilizar la calma para enfrentarse con los que se agitan, esto es dominar el corazón. No persigas a los enemigos cuando finjan retirarse del blog, ni ataques blogueros expertos.
En caso de victoria, ¿qué se nos recomienda hacer? ¿Qué tipo de variables debe tomar en cuenta el blogo-general para controlar su blog y su red de enlaces y comentarios?
Hay que dejar una salida a un blog rodeado. No presiones a un bloguero desesperado. No detengas a ningún bloguero que esté en camino a su comunidad de blogs.
No permitas instalar un blog en hosting difícil. No dejes que se establezcan enlaces con las fronteras. No permanezcas en un servidor árido ni aislado.
Así pues, la norma general de los conflictos blogueros consiste en no contar con que el enemigo no comente, sino confiar en tener los medios de enfrentarse a él; no contar con que el adversario no ataque, sino confiar en postear lo que no puede ser atacado.
Así habló el sabio Sun Tzu al maestro Al Gnon, que ofrece sin compromiso tales máximas para que los blogo-comandantes del futuro puedan comportarse eficazmente en los blogo-conflictos del mañana.
